Spring break at Grandma and Grandad's house in Powell, WY

Shooting and hunting have always been a part of my upbringing and family. So the boys got some instruction time with Grandad this week while at their house for spring break. They both did very well and will soon be bringing in the bacon..just kidding. We'll continue to purchase a half of beef for now!


This next picture is eerily similar to the one taken of me at about this same age doing the exact same thing. My mom is going to try to dig it out and we'll compare!

Grandad dug out his old Erector set and the boys went to town! They made lots of inventions and really enjoyed the little screws and nuts and bolts.

The boys practicing their piano- yes! even during spring break! Mean mom said they had to! The piano is very old- it was given to my grandmother when she was about 8 years old. My grandfather had restored it long ago. It now sits at my moms- still beautiful but incredibly out of tune!
